I pressed the Cancel button but it just carried on looking as if I was being asked the same question. I clicked the Apply button and then the Operating System Selection screen came up again but I had no option to say NO as both Windows 10 and Windows 7 are still there. I pressed the OK button and then the Install of the OS Selector screen came up again.

What did I do? I uninstalled all versions of Acronis products using Windows Disk partiton tool and then try to reinstall Dell Acronis. It overwrote all other parts of the partition and the only way to revert back is to backup all data using Acronis, then reinstall. Not really a solution for a home user. I hope a Dell rep can find a solution for me.

Also worth noting is the fact that as I have a GPT disk I was unable to use the DD11 pre-release version of DD12 that I burned onto CD on Jan 24th, 2020. I tried to install DD12 last night on a old GPT system that had not been used for many years and it was totally unable to see the hard disk partitions! So I went back to DD11, which still could read the partitions on the old GPT system, and I was able to upgrade without any problems. Again, I noticed that DD11 could not see a SATA RAID 5 system, and so I was able to upgrade from RAID 5 to RAID 6 without any problems. All in all, this was the first bad experience I have had with Acronis since I have been using it.
