After using it for a couple of weeks I would say that this version of Waterfox is still a bit behind the times. It does some things very well (like tabs), but more in the way of the 4th G than the 5th. There’s nothing I want it to include that it doesn’t include and I don’t expect any of the exciting new features of Waterfox 5 (and everyone else). The old “relationship” between Waterfox and G4 is a bit awkward. Since there’s no more G4, (and even Waterfox Classic has its own issues) it seems to make sense for Waterfox to have its own version number. I still want all the new features, but I’m not going to judge whether or not I approve of Waterfox 5 based on what it doesn’t include, or if I like, or don’t like those features. I only want a new Waterfox that is current.

There’s also an alternative for us “Extreme” users that switch to Waterfox Classic. That is when someone doesn’t like the browser, decides they want to use something else and leave. But they keep the customizations and plugins in Waterfox Classic instead of moving to FF.
